Buyers who are shifting from ICE-powered cars to EVs look for reliable and affordable products. Right now, most of the electric cars available in India are either costly or they are offered as a premium product which ultimately puts a question mark on the reliability part. Tata Motors is currently the leader of the EV market with a market share of somewhere around 60-70% and to be precise, the major reason behind this massive success is the fulfilment of either condition we have discussed above.

The Indian carmaker has recently achieved another milestone by selling over 10,000 EVs in the country itself. Planning to go fully electric? Check out all the details we have covered just for you down below.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Tata Motors has just sold over 10,000 units of EVs in India.
  • The brand is currently the market leader with a 60-70% share.
  • Nexon EV, Tigor EV to boost the sales further in near future.

Nobody is clearly aware of the future but according to Tata Motors, the brand will focus on expanding the portfolio with this same game plan. An interesting bit about the Tata Group is that the company is taking help from their own ventures such as Tata Chemicals, Tata Motors Finance and Tata Power to name a few. The brand is also aiming to rapidly scale up the charging infrastructure to provide a seamless experience to the customers.
