No aggressive design language. Not even this SUV aims to be a driver’s delight. Instead, the all-new Citroen C5 Aircross focuses on comfort and versatility. This way, one can surely call it a family’s delight. Jokes apart, it is comfortable and packs an ample amount of cabin space. Also, the design of this new offering will take some time for everyone’s eye to get used to. However, there is an interesting bit about this new SUV.

The French carmaker has finally launched it in India. And just to be precise, Citroen C5 Aircross will cost between Rs.29.90 Lakhs and Rs.31.90 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Sadly, this price tag is currently under the introductory price offer. But, it is expected to get altered sooner or later.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Citroen C5 Aircross is now available in India with a price tag of Rs.29.90 Lakh onwards.
  • It comes with a single 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 177HP and 400Nm of torque.

Well, this way there is a lot of scope for a personalised experience. As we know, the all-new SUV is available in two different variants, precisely – Feel and Shine. Therefore, both the variants come with different features along with a visible price difference.

Variants Single Tone Dual Tone
Feel Rs.29.90 Lakhs Rs.30.40 Lakhs

In terms of features, it comes with dual-zone climate control, hands-free parking, 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, LED headlamps, panoramic sunroof, etc. among others. Another important feature that requires an introduction is the company’s Progressive Hydraulic Cushion suspension setup. According to the Frech carmaker, this kind of suspension setup can absorb all the bumps outside just to give the occupants a comfortable ride.

Under the hood, Citroen C5 comes with a single 2.0-litre diesel motor. It is capable of producing a massive 177HP along with a peak torque of 400Nm while being mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Talking about the mileage, it is expected to return somewhere around 18kmpl.
