Ducati has decided to make the customers’ Diwali a little better by introducing the limited-run Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse. According to the reports, the Italian brand has priced it at Rs.10.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and interestingly, all the units have already been booked with deliveries slated immediately.

Of course, it’s unique and therefore, one can expect it to a lot of attention on the road. Starting with the fuel tank, it does get a new livery with ‘Fasthouse’ badging. The all-new bike also aims to remind you of the old bikes that were used in the Mint 400.

Available in sole dual-tone Black and Grey colour shades, it comes with a round headlamp (covered with grille), Kayaba suspension and skid plates to make it capable off the road. In terms of features, Ducati Desert Sled Fasthouse comes with an LCD instrument cluster, USB port, cornering ABS and LED headlights to name a few.

Powering this limited-run motorcycle is an 803cc twin-cylinder engine. The overall output from this unit is rated at 73HP @  8250 RPM and 66.2Nm of peak torque @ 5750 RPM while being paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Ducati is also offering the new Scrambler Desert Sled with the slipper clutch to make the shifts smoother and a lot easier.

Most buyers will buy this bike with the intention to use it on almost every kind of terrain. Well, keeping that in mind, Ducati has offered off-road-focused tyres with a 19-inch spoked wheel at the front and a 17-inch wheel with spokes at the back. Even the mudguards available on this limited edition bike are placed a little higher to improve its overall off-road capability.
