Ducati has recently launched the Panigale V2 in India. After around 1.5 months of booking, Ducati has now started delivering the Panigale V2 to its customers. The company has already started the booking of Ducati Panigale V2 against a token amount of ₹16.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Meanwhile, according to Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India, “Panigale V2 is the first BS6 motorcycle to be launched in India by Ducati”. However, the Panigale V2 is an affordable variant of the Panigale V4 superbike. Hence, it will be playing the role of affordable and entry-level Panigale in India.

The look and dynamics of Ducati Panigale V2 is similar to the Panigale V4. However, the Panigale V2 runs on a 955cc Superquadro, twin-cylinder engine. This particular engine produces 155PS of power along with a peak torque of 104Nm. The gear transmission in Ducati Panigale V2 is assisted by a 6-speed gearbox with the slipper clutch for slick shifting. The kerb weight of the motorcycle is around 177kgs.

Ducati Panigale V2 will enter the market with two color options: Ducati Red and Star White Silk. Meanwhile, the features on offer with Panigale V2 are Showa BPF forks, signature 5 spoke alloys, Brembo calipers, and the 4.3 inch TFT instrument console. Ducati will also offer 3 riding modes with cornering ABS and wheelie control for the Panigale V2.

The shock absorbers on offer with the motorcycle are the Sach steering damper in the front while a mono-shock unit at the rear. The tyres that will come with the Panigale V2 will be a Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II. The particular Pirelli tyre is popular for its performance as well as stability.

The safety features on offer with Ducati Panigale V2 are in ample amount. Meanwhile, the Italian motorbike is all set to rival the Kawasaki ZX10R.
