HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Ducati has revealed the 2021 XDiavel range globally.
  • The updated range now comes with three variants – Dark, S and Black Star.
  • Launch of the 2021 XDiavel in India remains unclear.

Ducati has recently revealed the 2021 XDiavel globally and the performance naked superbike is now Euro 5 compliant as well. Likewise, with the mechanical updates, Ducati will now offer the new Black Star and Dark variant on the all-new XDiavel. Thus, it will now be available in three variants, precisely – ‘Dark’, ‘S’ and ‘Black Star’.

Update-wise, the Ducati XDiavel now comes with smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth, all-LED headlights with DRLs, LED taillamps, M50 Brembo calipers, new lightweight wheels, DLC coated fork, etc. Apart from the features, the 2021 Ducati XDiavel comes equipped with multiple riding modes, Traction Control (TC), ABS with cornering function, Ducati Power Launch as well as Bosch Inertial Platform.

Coming to the Black Star variant that comes with a grey colored fuel tank along with red stripes on it. Meanwhile, the Dark variant gets a Matt Black finishing all-across the superbike that makes it look like a true monster.

Powering the naked superbike is a 1262cc twin-cylinder Testastretta DVT engine. It produces a massive 160BHP of power @ 9500 RPM and a peak torque of 127Nm @ 5000 RPM. Meanwhile, the power figures are way better than what it used to return on the Euro 4 compliant engine.

With the introduction of the Euro 5 compliant XDiavel, Ducati gives tough competition to the same segment cruiser bikes. However, the launch in India still remains unclear as the company has not made any official announcement yet.
