Ducati Streetfighter V4

For starters, the all-new Ducati Streetfighter V4 looks absolutely amazing with that naked bike design language. To be precise, the platform is similar to what we have already witnessed on the Panigale V4. At the front, it comes with a wide handlebar and twin-LED headlights with DRLs. Apart from this, the bike also features split seats, sportier alloy wheels and a sharp rear end with an LED taillamp.

Feature-wise, the upcoming streetfighter will be available with a 5-inch colour TFT display alongside the six-axis IMU technology. Multiple electronic aids including wheelie control, cornering ABS, traction control, multiple rides and power modes and Engine Brake Control (EBC) are expected to be available on the Streetfighter V4.

At the heart, it comes with a Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. Talking in numbers, it is a 1103cc four-cylinder liquid-cooled motor that churns out a massive 205BHP @ 12,750 RPM and a peak torque of 123Nm @ 11,500 RPM. For your information, this unit comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox alongside a power shifter.

Globally, Ducati Streetfighter V4 is available in two variants, precisely – Regular and S. Till now, the top-end S variant comes with adjustable forks by Ohlins at the front. Meanwhile, at the rear, there is a monoshock unit sourced from the same brand. Similarly, the entry-level variant gets a Show fork up front while at the rear it comes with a Sachs monoshock setup at the back.

Braking duties on both variants are handled by twin 330m discs upfront. At the rear, the Streetfighter V4 comes equipped with a 245mm disc for better braking performance.

Alternatives

Globally, Ducati Streetfighter V4 competes against the Aprilia Tuono V4, Kawasaki Z H2 and KTM 1290 Super Duke R. For now take a look at its prime rival – the all-new Aprilia Tuono V4.
