The word ‘Geza’ here stands for the Japanese theatre, which focuses on music. It’s a part of Japanese culture and therefore, its introduction here means it is related to the immersive sound experience.

Priced at Rs.7.39 Lakh onwards (ex-showroom, Delhi), the major highlight of this special edition is the 9-inch high-resolution touchscreen infotainment system. It looks intuitive in terms of use and comes with bring colours making it stand out from what the brand offered earlier.

Other than this, Magnite Geza Edition also features a Premium JBL surround sound system, taking the experience to another level. Nissan has also introduced Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (both wireless), which now allows the user with easy connectivity. Apart from this, a rearview parking camera and a shark fin antenna have also been added to the feature list of the new Magnite.

Under the hood, the hatchback is available with either a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated or a turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 72PS/96Nm and 100PS/152Nm respectively. What’s exciting though is that the latter comes with an optional CVT gearbox while both of them are sold with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. Lately, Nissan has also updated these engines making them BS-6 Phase-2 compliant. Back then, some safety features such as Electronic Stability Programme, Hill Start Assist, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, etc. were also added to make it feature-rich.

When compared to the regular model, Nissan Magnite Geza Edition could cost around Rs.11,000 more. But the experience that this special edition offers with such premium equipment would be all worth it.
