Ferrari has recently revealed the convertible SF90 Spider globally. The company revealed the high-performance sports car through an online event. However, it will be Ferrari’s first plug-in hybrid convertible.

Design-wise, the 2021 Ferrari SF90 Spider looks similar to the Stradale. Meanwhile, as a convertible, it gets a retractable aluminum roof that weighs 40kg lighter than the conventional roof. The roof on the other hand can open or close in just 14 seconds. Ferrari is also offering the optional Assetto Fiorano pack that comes with carbon fibre and titanium finishing. The optional pack offers customers a new two-tone color scheme, Multimatic Dampers and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

Inside the cabin, it gets a 16-inch all-digital instrument cluster, touch control on the steering wheel, heads-up display, etc. Apart from this, the design of the cabin looks very driver-oriented as well.

At the heart, the all-new Ferrari SF90 Spider gets a powerful 3990cc twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It produces 780BHP of power with a peak torque of 800Nm while being mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox. However, combined with the electric motor that produces 220BHP of power the total output results in 1000BHP. The supercar also comes with a four-wheel drive powertrain.

Coming to the performance, the SF90 Spider can do a 0-100 kmph run in just 2.5 seconds and 200kmph in just 7 seconds. Meanwhile, the top speed is around 340 kmph.

In India, Ferrari already offers the Ferrari Roma and F8 Tributo. Meanwhile, the Italian carmaker has not announced the launch of the SF90 Spider in India yet.
