Ford Bronco is the rugged, off-road capable but yet a stylish SUV and is ruling the hearts of many SUV enthusiasts. Ford Bronco was revealed earlier this month. But the SUV is scheduled to launch in 2021.

Recently, according to the figures released by Ford, the Ford Bronco surpasses 1,50,000 reservations. The reservation amount allows booking the vehicle as soon as it hits the market. Ford Bronco’s reservation can be done against a token amount of $100. While the amount remains refundable.

The Ford Bronco with its retro design is available with a 2-door and a 4-door variant. With a ground clearance of 294mm and a wading capacity of 851mm making the car surely a beast. The Ford gets six trims on offer. The variants are the base Bronco, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Wildtrak, and the Badlands.

Many other technical features such as a pre-collision assist, blind-spot monitor, forward collision warning, and a rearview camera come as a standard.

Powered by two different engines according to the variant. The base variant comes with a 1.5-litre 3-cylinder Ecoboost engine which can produce around 181 HP and 257 Nm of torque while the higher variants are powered by 2.0-litre 4-cylinder Ecoboost engine which produces 245 HP and 372 Nm of torque. Both get an 8-speed automatic unit.

The modes are off-road-oriented and known as GOAT (Goes Over Any Terrain), which includes the Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Sand modes.

Ford Bronco is already getting a massive response for their retro looks as well as the ruggedness. However, its rival, the massive Tesla Cybertruck which is yet to arrive in the market gives Ford Bronco a tough competition.

Ford Bronco is not coming to India anytime soon.

Price starts at $28,155 onwards.
