In terms of design, the all-new Ford EcoSport SE will not get the tailgate-mounted spare wheel. Infact, it will not be having a spare wheel at all. Instead, Ford will offer a puncture repair kit alongside tyre pressure monitoring system on this variant as standard. Apart from this, the number plate housing on the EcoSport SE will be on the center of the tailgate, unlike the older variants.

Mechanically, even the updated model will come with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that is capable of producing a massive 120BHP of power and 149Nm of torque. It is available with a manual as well as an automatic gearbox. However, there is another 1.5-litre diesel motor that can churn out 100HP and a peak torque of 215Nm. It is only available with a manual gearbox.

Feature-wise, Ford EcoSport SE will continue to get similar features that the current ‘S’ variant offers. This list includes an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power-adjustable wing mirrors, automatic climate control, fog lamps, sunroof and 16-inch alloy wheels among others. Further, there are multiple safety features such as six airbags, ABS, traction control, crash sensor, engine immobilize, etc. on the EcoSport S.
