Earlier, Ford used to offer a 6-speed torque convertor on the Figo but that was just before the BS6 era. Want to learn what all features do the new Ford Figo AT comes with? Well, take a look at the details down below.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Ford has finally launched the all-new Ford Figo Petrol AT.
- To be available with the 96HP, 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine.
- New pair of 15-inch alloy wheels are there for the AT variants.
2021 Ford Figo AT
Starting with the latest addition, the new Figo comes with a 6-speed torque convertor while being paired to a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. The overall output from the entire setup is still rated at 96HP and 119Nm but it will not get paddle shifters. However, a Sport mode has been added to make the shifts even more aggressive when driven enthusiastically.
There’s even a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine available but it is only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox. On the outside, a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels have also been introduced to differentiate it from the manual ones.
Ford Figo AT comes in Titanium and Titanium+ variants therefore, it is almost fully loaded with several features. To name a few, it will sport a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system alongside navigation, automatic climate control, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, etc.
Till now the brand has not introduced LED headlights, DRLs and smartphone connectivity via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which are there available on Maruti Suzuki Swift as well as Grand i10 Nios. Talking about safety, it continues to feature six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control and rearview camera among others.
