Ford has decided that it will come to India with the all-new Ford Ranger Raptor. The upcoming pickup truck will reach India via the CBU route. Therefore, Ford is expected to bring the limited units of the Ranger Raptor.
EXTERIOR
The all-new pickup truck by Ford will look very similar to the Endeavour. However, it will be larger than the Ford Endeavour in each and every aspect. Apart from this, Ford Ranger Raptor will come equipped with 33-inch all-terrain tires. Meanwhile, the ground clearance of the truck remains at 280mm. For a person, who needs attention with a lot of road presence, this truck will remain a perfect choice for them.
INTERIOR
The upcoming Ford Ranger Raptor is spacious from inside and offers all sorts of comfort to its customers. It comes equipped with sports seats at the front row that can be adjusted electronically. Meanwhile, the feature list inside includes multiple charging sockets, a 6-speaker surround sound system, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and climate control among others. Further, the infotainment system on the Ford Ranger Raptor gets the FordPass Connect feature.
ENGINE
Even for the overseas market, Ford offers a 2.0L twin-turbocharged diesel engine that churns out a massive 210BHP of power and a peak torque of 500Nm. Further, the engine comes mated to a 10-speed gearbox along with a paddle shifter for quick shifting. However, the powertrain offered on the Ford Ranger Raptor globally is perfect for the Indian market as well. Therefore, we expect Ford to offer a similar powertrain in India.
Along with this powerful engine, Ford is offering 5 terrain management modes including:
- Normal
- Sport
- Rock
- Sand/Mud
- Grass/Snow/Gravel and
- Baja
