Hyundai first released its compact SUV, the Hyundai Tucson in 2004. Meanwhile, Hyundai sold around 7 million units of Tucson globally since its launch. And now Hyundai has revealed the 2021 Hyundai Tucson with a sporty design and electrified powertrain.
Hyundai is all set to offer three different powertrain with the all-new Tucson including hybrid, plug-in hybrid and 48V mild hybrid variant. Meanwhile, the front grille with Parametric Hidden Lights is something new for the buyers in India. According to the Hyundai, the ‘Parametric Lights’ looks like the grille until turned on that enhances the overall look at the front. The creases and wedges at the side portion are also totally different from the outgoing generation model.
The rear of the 2021 Hyundai Tucson also comes with the Parametric Hidden tailamps with the Hyundai badging just above it. However, Hyundai will offer three new color options with the upcoming Hyundai Tucson –
- Shimmering Silver
- Amazon Gray and
- Teal.
Likewise, the revised interior of the Hyundai Tucson gets dual 10.25 inch screens for the infotainment system as well as the AC controls. The infotainment system on the Tucson will be a BOSE Premium audio unit that will come with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard. Other features such as the Bluelink connectivity, ambient mood lighting, air purifier, etc. will also be offered.
The upcoming Hyundai Tucson will come with a 2.5-litre and a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 230PS and 350PS of power. Both the engines gets a two wheel drive as well as a four wheel drive powertrain as optional.
