Over the past few years, Lamborghini has introduced so many models of the Huracan range. However, this time the company has revealed the all-new Lamborghini Huracan STO globally and it is one of the most performance-oriented supercars offered by the carmaker. On the other hand, Huracan STO takes inspiration from the Super Trofeo EVO and GT3 EVO race cars that hold the record of winning the 24 hours Daytona championship thrice.

INTERIOR

Inside the cabin, it gets a similar carbon fibre treatment with an 8.4-inch infotainment system, sports seats and three drive modes on offer including – STO, Trofeo and Pioggia. Meanwhile, these drive modes are designed to alter the performance of the all-new Lamborghini Huracan STO according to the needs and preference.

DESIGN

As the company claims, the new Lamborghini Huracan STO gets the most superior aerodynamics. Meanwhile, the car only weighs 1339 kg (dry) all because of the removal of the four-wheel drive that the Huracan Performante used to offer. Another factor for weight loss is the use of carbon fibre that is used extensively on the all-new offering by Lamborghini.

At the front, the bonnet and the bumper is made up of the same element called the “confango”. Meanwhile, at the rear, the shark fin and the rear wing looks extremely mind-boggling. Apart from this, the downforce is increased by 53 percent when compared to the outgoing Huracan Performante.

ENGINE & PERFORMANCE

The engine that powers the all-new Lamborghini Huracan STO is a 5.2L V10 motor. It produces 630BHP of power @ 8000 RPM with a peak torque of 565Nm @ 6500 RPM. Meanwhile, it comes mated to a 7-speed LDF dual-clutch gearbox. Coming to the performance, the all-new supercar can do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 3 seconds.

Lamborghini is all set to start the delivery of the Huracan STO from mid-2021. However, the company has announced the base price of its supercar at £216,677. Coming to the launch in India, the company has not announced anything regarding it yet.
