In fact, the key factor behind that milestone was an adequately priced product with an ample amount of punch. For now, someone who wants features can definitely go for a premium scooter but if talking about a person who simply wants a 125cc scooter. Well, there arrives a problem.

Hero Maestro Edge 125 has finally been updated with tons of features and a starting price tag of Rs.72,250 (ex-showroom, Delhi). New Hero Maestro Edge 125

Updates

Starting with the styling updates, the new scooter features a distinctive LED projector headlamp at the front. Interestingly, a new pair of wing mirrors, striking graphics, a revised headlamp area and several new shades are also a part of the MY2021. The fully digital instrument cluster has also been updated with smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. To be precise, this feature brings the rider several alerts with turn-by-turn navigation as standard.

There’s also a Hero Connect App for the smartphone that further aids with information such as parking finder, track my vehicle, theft alert and trip analysis.

Engine

Powering the new Maestro Edge 125 is the same 124.6 cc single-cylinder engine. Putting in numbers, the overall output from the same stands at 9BHP and 10.4Nm of torque. As claimed by the brand, the new scooter is expected to return a mileage between 45kmph to 51kmpl (approx.).

Colour Schemes

Talking about the shades, the drum variant of the 2021 Maestro Edge features four of them including – Candy Blazing Red, Panther Black, Pearl Silver White and Matt Techno Blue. Coming to the disc variant, it gets all the four colours mentioned above. However, just to make it even more special, two additional shades including Prismatic Yellow and Prismatic Purple has also been added to the palette.

The Connected variant will only get the two additional colours available for the disc one.
