In a bullish market, survival is quite an easy task but if any automaker strives for excellence then they have to face extreme competition and that’s something for sure. We know that there are several scooters available in India but if we have to go for one, most of us will definitely choose the all-new Honda Activa. There are multiple reasons behind it but the most important one is simplicity. Well again, Hero MotoCorp is here to pitch the new Hero Pleasure Plus XTech against it and of course, as the name suggests it will remain feature loaded.

Are these modern gizmos enough to counter simplicity? Only time will tell but if you want to learn more about the Hero Pleasure Plus XTech then do give this article a read.

Hero Pleasure Plus XTech

Design & Features

It was already available in India and to be precise, the XTech version is entirely based upon the Platinum variant. So for a premium of Rs.69,500 (Ex-showroom, Delhi), buyers will definitely get most of the modern features including a revised LED headlamp, side stand engine cut-off, semi-digital instrument cluster and smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth (exclusively on XTech variant). The last feature will let the rider go through information like message alerts, phone battery and incoming/missed call alerts.

Just to maintain exclusivity, Hero has also decided to introduce a new Jubilant Yellow shade apart from the other seven shades that are already there on the Platinum variant. The Indian bike manufacturer has also retained the chrome panels on the wing mirrors, headlight surround and side fenders.

Engine

At the heart, the all-new Pleasure Plus XTech gets a potent 111cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that propels a decent 8BHP and 8.7Nm. Well, this time it is expected to be slightly fuel efficient because of the introduction of this new i3S system. Still, wondering what it is? Basically, it is the brand’s idle start-stop system that is expected to improve the overall fuel efficiency.

Alternatives

In India, the all-new Hero Pleasure Plus XTech compares with other well-established 110cc scooters such as Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter and Hero Maestro Edge 110. Want to learn about the best selling Activa? Check out all the details related to it down below.

Power for the Activa 6G is obtained by a 109.51cc single-cylinder engine that churns out a decent 7.79PS and 8.79Nm of peak torque.
