Honda has recently launched the Honda Hornet 2.0 in India. Hornet 2.0 will roll out in the Indian market with a price tag of ₹1,26,345 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Japanese manufacturer has introduced Honda Hornet 2.0 as its first 180cc segment bike in India.

Meanwhile, the features on offer with the Honda Hornet 2.0 are the LED headlamps with position lamp, 12 litre fuel tank, split seats, x-shaped LED tail lamp, etc. However, the instrument cluster on offer is an all-LED unit. It comes with negative display as well as 5 level brightness adjustments. The Honda Hornet 2.0 also comes with a hazard switch for the emergency stop with a key insert on the tank.

The engine which is new for the Japanese manufacturer is a 184.4cc unit. This particular engine comes with Honda’s HET PGM-Fi technology and is a BS6 compliant. The maximum output from the engine is around 17hp of power with a peak torque of 16.1Nm. As per the price tag, and on paper numbers the bike is quite underpowered. It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox for the transmission.

It is offering dual petal disc brakes on both the front as well as the rear. The front disc is a 276mm unit meanwhile, the rear comes with a 220mm unit. For the rider’s safety Hornet 2.0 is all set to roll out with a single-channel ABS. Apart from the safety features, Honda Hornet 2.0 weighs around 146 kgs. The shock absorber in front comes with a golden-colored USD fork. Meanwhile, the rear is equipped with a mono-shock unit.

The color scheme on offer with the bike are – Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic.

Apart from this Honda is also offering a 6-year warranty package along with Hornet 2.0. The warranty on offer contributes to- a 3-year standard warranty and 3-year optional extended warranty.

Honda Hornet 2.0 will reach the dealership by the first week of September. However, the bookings for the bike starts on 27th August. Bookings for the bike can be done by visiting the nearest dealership.
