Based on the diamond chassis, the all-new Honda Rebel 1100 weighs around 223kgs. Well, it might look heavy in terms of numbers. However, there is a lot of practicality on offer from this bike.

To begin with, it comes with a large 13.6-litre fuel tank, fully digital instrument cluster, LED lighting setup and blacked-out exhaust to name a few. Also, the alloy wheels present on the 2021 Honda Rebel 110 gets a matte black finishing. In terms of safety, it comes equipped with disc brakes on both ends along with dual-channel ABS. However, there are multiple electronic aids available to customise the safety levels. For instance, there is three-level wheelie control, cruise control, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), etc. among others.

At the heart, it comes with a powerful 1048cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. To be precise, this motor is truly capable of producing a massive 86HP @ 7000 RPM alongside a peak torque of 98Nm @ 4,750 RPM. Further, it comes mated to either a 6-speed manual or a DCT gearbox. Four different ride modes including Standard, Rain, Road and Custom are now a part of the 2021 Honda Rebel 1100.

Talking about the suspension setup, the all-new bike sits on telescopic forks upfront. However, at the rear, there is a twin shock absorbers unit. The rear suspension setup is said to be sourced by Showa.

Rival

Globally, Honda Rebel 1100 directly competes against the likes of Harley Davidson Forty Eight.

Harley Davidson does not require any introduction in terms of the tourer segment. However, it is the all-new Forty Eight range that gets a powerful 1200cc Evolution V-twin motor that needs a round of applause. It is powerful yet refined when compared to the outgoing BS4 counterpart. In India, the American brand might be struggling right now. But we hope Harley Davidson to make a stronger comeback soon.
