Husqvarna has recently revealed the all-new Svartpilen 125 in Europe. The latest entry-level motorcycle borrows almost all the elements from its Austrian sibling, KTM Duke 125. Apart from all this, Husqvarna has recently launched the all-new Svartpilen 125 in Europe. Interestingly, the all-new motorcycle is produced in India at the Bajaj’s Chakan Plant and is expected to reach the European shores as a CBU unit.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 is now available in Europe.
  • It is powered by a 125cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder unit.
  • The all-new Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 is expected to come to India soon.

The engine that powers the Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 is a 125cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder unit. Further, it is the same engine that powers the current generation KTM Duke 125. It is capable to produce 14.3BHP of power @ 9250 RPM and a peak torque of 12Nm @ 8000 RPM. This engine on the other hand comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Performance-wise, Svartpilen 125 comes with a top speed of 100kmph.

Suspension unit on the all-new bike is a 43mm WP Apex fork at the front. Meanwhile, at the rear, it comes with a preload-adjustable monoshock unit. Likewise, the braking duties on the all-new bike are handled by a 320mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear. Further, for an enhanced braking experience it comes with the dual-channel ABS which is sourced from Bosch.

With an increase in demand for the smaller bikes in India, KTM recently introduced the Duke 125 here. Hence, we can expect the all-new Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 to come here soon. When launched, it will be priced in an aggressive manner to undercut the pricing of the KTM Duke 125.
