Hyundai has recently revealed the i20 N globally and it is said to be inspired by the i20 WRC rally car. However, the difference between the regular and N variant is the turbocharged engine, chassis, suspension and some cosmetic changes inside out.

Coming to the looks, i20 N gets the LED headlamps, a subtle lip spoiler, 18-inch alloy wheels, smoked rear taillamps, roof soiler, triangular fog light, large air dams, wide grille and a single exhaust outlet. Meanwhile, Hyundai is also offering six color schemes for the i20 N. Inside the cabin, it gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, N specific – steering wheel, gear knob and metal pedals.

Powering the all-new Hyundai i20 N is a 1.6L T-GDi engine. Meanwhile, this engine produces a massive 204Ps of power with a peak torque of 275Nm. It comes paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a mechanical limited-slip differential (LSD). However, coming to the performance i20 N can do a 0-100 kmph run in just 6.7 seconds with a top speed of 230 kmph.

Apart from this, it also comes with a brake pad wear indicator (PWI), rev matching function, launch control and Performance Driving Data System. Meanwhile, complimenting the launch control i20 N comes with five drive modes, precisely – Normal, Eco, Sport, N and N Custom.

Hyundai has announced that the all-new Hyundai i20 N will be available in Europe from 2021.
