The much-anticipated Santa Fe by Hyundai is scheduled to make its global debut on February 21st  this year. Hyundai sprung a pleasant surprise by revealing photos of the fourth generation Santa Fe SUV. The Santa Fe is scheduled to be released in South Korean market and is also expected in the Indian market a little later this year. The Santa Fe 2018 will be showcased and displayed to the public at the Geneva Motor show 2018.

The new Santa Fe has a lot to offer in terms of safety features. Safety exit assist helps to avoid accidents when vehicles approach from behind by locking the doors so that passengers do not open the door when a vehicle is coming from the back. The rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist helps when reversing. the system warns and applies brakes automatically if vehicles approach from the side.

The interior comprises of a horizontal layout with a lot of space and high visibility. Automatic climate control, dials on either side, central A/C vents and a new touchscreen interactive system. The Santa Fe has increased in size and has a longer wheelbase which in turn provides a more spacious cabin. It comes with a total length of 4770 mm and 1890 mm width. Based on the prototype design, the Santa Fe is expected to come with swept back LED tail-lamps, twin exhaust tips and a muscular rear bumper with rear diffuser.

Coming to the engine, the Santa Fe will include two turbocharged diesel engines,2 liters and 2.2 liters, and a 2.0 liter turbo petrol unit V-6 engine which produces 290 hp and is backed by an eight speed automatic transmission that provides power to a front-drive system or four-wheel drive system.

The expected price of the Hyundai Santa Fe is set to be around 27 lakhs and is slated to release in India by June this year.
