The sales figure for the Jawa is really poor in the month of July 2020.
Classic Legends in July sold around 569 units of the Jawa bikes. The total market share of the Jawa is just 0.07 percent for the month of July. Meanwhile, the total units of two-wheelers sold in the country are around 8.74 lakh in the month of July.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, many automobile companies have faced a reduction in sales while many others are trying to return back on track. However, the sales figure of Jawa in the year 2019 has been similar as around 991 bikes were sold and registered. The market share in the year 2019 again remained the same by 0.07 percent.
The Jawa only stays ahead of the premium bike makers in the market such as Kawasaki, Triumph, BMW Motorrad, and Harley Davidson as per the sales figure.
The company has faced a year-on-year decline of about 43 percent in the market share since last year. The figures revealed by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations of India states the actual data of the sales.
The Classic Legends used to share the sales data some months after the reintroduction of Jawa. But later the company stopped sharing data stating that they were doing pretty well.
In short, Jawa might be facing problems in re-establishing the market in India.
