Inside the cabin, the 2021 Jeep Compass does feel premium with a redesigned interior. Apart from this, there is a new 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and voice commands via Amazon Alexa. Further, it will also get a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charging pad, a powered seat for the driver, a 10.25-inch instrument console, etc. among others.

Safety Features

With great power comes great responsibility. Well! Jeep understands its responsibility and offers an ample amount of safety features on the 2021 Jeep Compass. The list includes six airbags, EBD, ABS, brake assist, hill start assist and ESC among others.

Engine

The engine that powers the 2021 Jeep Compass is the same 2.0L diesel unit that churns out 173HP alongside a peak torque of 350Nm. Further, there is a 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine that produces 163HP and 250Nm of torque. Both the engines are available with a six-speed MT. However, Jeep offers an optional 7-speed DCT for the turbo petrol engine while the diesel variant comes mated to a 9-speed torque converter.

Rivals

In India, the Jeep Compass facelift will go against the likes of MG Hector, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Tucson and Skoda Karoq. Meanwhile, MG Motors has recently launched the 2021 MG Hector in India with a price tag of Rs.12.89 Lakh onwards. We expect Jeep India to come with an introductory price offer to counter other carmakers. At the time of launch, Jeep India might price the all-new Jeep Compass at Rs.17 Lakh onwards.
