What’s new on the 2023 Z H2 & Z H2 SE?

For 2023, Kawasaki has launched the Z H2 and Z H2 SE with a single Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray colour. In terms of features, both of them are jam-packed with bells and whistles such as Electronic Cruise Control, Brembo M4.32 brake callipers (front), a fully digital rider’s display, smartphone connectivity and Electronic Throttle Valves as standard.

Interestingly, this time, several electronic aids including Kawasaki Launch Control Mode (KLCM), Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), ABS, Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and Kawasaki Management Function (KCMF) have made their way on the updated bikes.

There’s one such electronic aid that is limited to the Z H2 SE. To be precise, it is the Kawasaki Electronic Control Suspension (KECS ) with Showa Skyhook Technology that is reserved for the top-end variant.

Engine & Transmission

Powered by a 998cc, in-line four-cylinder supercharged engine, the new Z H2 and  Z H2 SE are now capable of disbursing 200 PS @ 11,000 RPM and 137Nm of peak torque @ 8,500 RPM of overall output while being mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Since it is a superbike, Kawasaki has even introduced several advanced features such as an assist-and-slipper clutch and the brand’s Quick Shifter on both bikes. These advanced features help in pushing the bikes to their extreme limits with a seamless experience.

Planning to go ahead with the all-new Kawasaki Z H2 or the Z H2 SE? The sad news is customers are expected to pay the entire amount to place the bookings as Kawasaki has confirmed that both bikes are built to order.
