If we observe 450 SX-F design closely, we can get that it is partially newly designed but became much more compacted. The new shape of bike improved shock absorber system. Also, the new shape is slimmer ergonomics making the bike feel narrower, without compromise to regulatory noise limits. It is powered by a 450cc, 4 Stroke petrol engine, comprising single overhead camshaft cylinder head having four ultra-lightweight titanium valves.
It has 4-speed transmission accompanied by ‘No-Dirt’ gearbox and electric start plug. Other technical features like it has Keihin EMS, Wet, DDS multi-disc clutch, Brembo hydraulics system, etc.
Designers gaurentee that light weight framed bikes are faster. So, SX-F infused with hydro formed Chromium Molybdenum steel tubes are robot welded, which improve strength and stiffness which inturn improve handling. Also, lightweight aluminum subframe is 40 mm longer, which consequently catalyze stability ratio. KTM custumed it with one-piece swingarm to withstand tough roads and drifts.
KTM 450 SX-F comprises WP shock absorber with linkage front and rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes, neoprene fork protector, etc.
