The Great Ladakh Adventure Tour: KTM calls all the passionate Indian bikers!

Just like the last season, the third season of the Great Ladakh Adventure is a part of the KTM Pro-XP program and will be a golden ticket for those who want to conquer the beauty of the Himalayas. Led by experts – Varad More and Sangram Devekar, the tour has been planned 1-2 months in advance, so as to keep even the smallest detail in check.

Unlike last time, KTM has decided a new route for the riders that includes majorly; the Zanskar Valley. The journey is all set to start from Manali then Jispa – Leh – Kargil – Padum and back to Jispa before completing the trip in Manali. The route mentioned is not as easy as it sounds and to be precise, it is expected to cover various terrains including – Tarmac, Sand Dunes, Slush, Dry River Beds, River Crossing, Forest and the list goes on.

These obstacles cannot be conquered without proper training, right? Keeping that in mind, KTM has confirmed that the participants will go through rigorous training at the Adventure Academy located at 14,000ft, with a proper briefing of the complete route.

Coming to how much will be the cost of this trip. Putting an end to this confusion, KTM has announced that the cost will go somewhere around Rs.45,000. This includes all permits, insurance with coverage up to Rs.5 Lakh, accommodation (double sharing basis)*, meals and service support. Other than this, keeping in mind the safety of the enthusiasts, the Austria-headquartered brand has also announced that a dedicated Ambulance and backup vehicle will always escort the convoy.
