Sporty, stylish and modern describes the design language of the all-new KTM RC range really well. The good news is that the Austrian brand has finally launched two of them including KTM RC 125 and RC 200 in India with an introductory price starting at Rs.1.82 Lakh for the first one while the latter one will be retailed at Rs.2.09 Lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).

Several changes have been made on both bikes to make them rider-friendly. For starters, RC 125 and RC 200 now comes with a more rigid base, lighter alloys and a subtle grab bar for the pillion. According to KTM, both of them also features a new adjustable handlebar to improve the overall ride quality.

Another major and surprising update is that the two of them are now available with a larger fuel tank with an overall capacity of 13.7-litres. There’s even a new LCD instrument console and front indicators to retain the practicality. To differentiate between them, the all-new KTM RC 125 comes with a halogen headlamp. Meanwhile, it is the RC 200 that sports an LED headlamp setup to stand apart from the younger sibling.

Engine

Power on the RC 125 comes from a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine that churns out a decent 15PS and 12Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the updated RC 200 still uses a potent 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. As per the spec sheet, this unit produces 25PS and 19.2Nm while being paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

Depends upon everyone’s personal choice but Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is still a value-for-money sports bike. The Indian brand is still retailing it at Rs.1.63 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). For starters, it is way better than RC 125 in almost every sense but sits very close to RC 200 when compared to the overall power delivery.

Power on the updated RS200 is propelled by a potent 199.5cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The overall output from this unit is rated at 24.5PS and 18.7Nm while being paired to a 6-speed transmission. In terms of features, it is decently loaded with projector headlamps, dual-channel ABS, disc brakes and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
