The sole reason KTM has been able to become the top premium motorcycle brand in the world is due to its widespread brand recognition. If you’re not aware, the auto manufacturer even offers a programme called KTM Pro-XP, which is nothing more than a riding and community involvement programme that gives riders professional riding experience over a variety of terrains to advance their riding talents.

Recently, 26 riders participated in the KTM Pro-XP Adventure Tour and travelled through some of India’s most difficult terrain at heights greater than 14,900 feet over the course of 11 days and 12 nights. These riders were undoubtedly supervised by the KTM professionals, and upon their return, they now have some thrilling tales to share.

First and foremost, all 26 riders underwent intense offroad training at the Adventure Academy at Lari, which is located at an elevation of roughly 11,000 feet and is the highest in the world. Riders underwent the training to get themselves ready for even the most difficult circumstances. At a height of 14,900 feet, the Dhar Lung Wooh Pass served as these riders’ initial major rest stop. Experts claim that because of the excessively steep off-road conditions, a large group of bikers typically ignore this pass. Fortunately, as you can see in the image above, all 26 riders were able to navigate the terrain and arrive at their destination.

They all eventually went to Kunzum La to recreate the triumphant memories of 2021. To recall,  a rally car racer was defeated by a KTM 390 Adventure to win the “Kunzum Kaiser” title at the same pass.

There were some other sites that were covered during the tour and to be a little more precise, the list includes Baspa Valley, Kinnaur Iron Bridge, Nako Lake, Kinner Kailash, Tabo monastery and stargazing site, Key monastery and Dhankar monastery among others.

After the tour was completed successfully, Sumeet Narang, President of Probiking, added, “The KTM Pro-XP platform is designed to help owners discover their biking potential and get to know the true capabilities of their KTM machines. We are elated to have successfully completed the Spiti Adventure tour. With its deep valleys, high mountain ranges, and challenging terrains, Spiti is the perfect destination for KTM Adventure riders to hone their skills and test their limits. I am proud of the 26 KTM riders who rode into Dhar Lung Wooh, which I am sure will be one of those Pro-XP moments they will never forget.”
