Lamborghini has recently teased its upcoming Huracan STO ahead of its global unveil that will take place on 18th November. Meanwhile, the interesting fact is that this will be the last variant for the Huracan lineup.
The STO on the all-new Huracan stands for Super Trofeo Omologato. Thus, as the name suggests the all-new Huracan STO will be the most powerful, track-oriented and fastest Huracan ever. Other than this, the teaser image on the social media handles reveals alot about the upcoming supercar.
Design-wise, the upcoming Huracan STO will come with aggressive styling, a large wing at the rear, signature LED DRLs as well as a roof scoop. However, the teaser image also accompanies a caption that says, “From the racetrack to the road. The new V10 Lamborghini”.
As per the sources, the all-new Lamborgini Huracan STO will be 150 kgs lighter when compared to the Evo. Apart from this, only 700 units of Huracan STO are likely to be manufactured which automatically makes it a limited edition supercar.
The engine expected to power the 2021 Huracan STO will be a 5.2L naturally aspirated V10 unit. Meanwhile, it is the same engine that powers the Huracan Evo by producing 630.3BHP of power @ 8000 RPM and a peak torque of 600Nm @ 6500 RPM. However, the upcoming Huracan STO will get a better tuning with increased power figures.
At last, the Italian carmaker is all set to launch the Lamborghini Huracan STO on 18th November through a virtual event. Stay tuned for more updates.
