What can we expect?
The overall silhouette of the updated NX remains similar to the outgoing model. However, just to differentiate, the 2022 range will get a new pair of LED headlamps, a revised grille, a fresh bumper and a large bonnet hood. The rear profile also features a minor change in the form of new LED headlights. Also, to make it look fresh, Lexus will also update the alloy wheels for MY2022.
The cabin indeed feels fresh with lots of new panels and a clean layout. For starters, the 2022 Lexus NX will now get a massive 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features, including wireless charger, electrically adjustable front seats, sunroof, etc are also a part of this update.
Engine
The outgoing 300h model used to come with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with a mild-hybrid setup onboard. According to the brand, the ICE was capable enough of churning out a decent 155HP while the electric motor was good for a decent 143HP. Talking about the combined output, this setup altogether used to produce 197HP.
Exact details related to the powertrain will be out on the day of its launch. However, we can expect a similar setup to arrive again.
