Features

Lexus is a brand that majorly focuses on the design language and features list. For instance, there is a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto as well as Apple Carplay. Meanwhile, to operate this infotainment system from the driver’s seat the LS 500h Nishijin comes with a multifunctional steering wheel. Further, for an enhanced surround sound experience the all-new luxury sedan comes equipped with a 23-speaker Mark Levinson sound system.

The list doesn’t end here. Lexus LS 500h Nishijin also comes with executive seats at the rear that offers a lounge kind of experience with recliner seats. To make the experience more appealing the executive seats at the rear get massage function with ambient lighting flowing all across.

Engine

Under the hood, the all-new sedan is powered by a 3.5L turbocharged V6 petrol engine that comes paired to an electric motor. The combined output from both the sources results to a massive 354BHP of power alongside a peak torque of 354Nm. Further, it is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission that pairs well with the engine.

Currently, Lexus LS 500h Nishijin is going to compete against the likes of well-established luxury sedans such as Audi A8L, BMW 7 Series and Mercedes Benz S-Class. However, when compared to its rivals this all-new Nishijin variant is priced much higher than its competition. Customers can also opt for the regular variant – the LS 500h that comes with a price tag of Rs.1.91 Crores. Further, Lexus is also planning to expand its portfolio in India by the end of 2021.
