Lexus NX 350h Overtrail: Here’s Everything You Need To Know
The changes on the outside are significant and to begin with, it is the new paint called ‘Moon Desert’ that attracts a lot of attention. Other than this, the SUV also features several blacked-out elements. The massive grille, ORVMs, door handles and roof rails are a few places where the automaker has extensively used the black shade. Thankfully, to make it even more exciting, the NX Overtrail now sits on 18-inch matte black alloy wheels. These are said to be wrapped in 235/60 section tyres to make the SUV more capable when it comes to off-roading.
Inside, the Overtrail model features some features as well as cosmetic changes. Starting with the dashboard, it now feels more premium and the inclusion of black leather across further takes the experience to the next level. This model is also said to be feature-rich when compared to the standard NX. Some features that might catch one’s attention are ventilated front seats, a Mark Levinson 17-speaker surround sound system and a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel with heated function, among others. The SUV also gets ADAS as a standard feature. A host of connected car tech features are also a part of the suite.
Powering the NX 350h Overtrail is a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that works in conjunction with twin electric motors to propel a combined output of 243 horsepower. The setup is said to be mated to a 6-speed e-CVT gearbox with an all-wheel drive system as standard.
The new NX Overtrail will continue its rivalry with other luxury SUVs. The list includes some big names such as BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Volvo XC60 and Audi Q5.
