Mahindra believes that Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) is one of those segments that will stay forever. The fact is being a homegrown brand, the carmaker understands what kind of customers they are catering to and what the infrastructure developments in India exactly look like. Bolero has been one of the oldest names associated with the brand and with Bolero Neo they tried hard to address a wider range of audience.

Recently, the Indian automaker has launched a limited-run Bolero Neo with some cosmetic changes and if you are someone keen about learning more about this specific model, we have covered all the details just for you.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Mahindra Bolero Neo Limited Edition has made its debut.
  • Available with a potent 98.5BHP, 1.5-litre diesel engine.
  • Also, features several cosmetic enhancements inside-out.

Mahindra Bolero Neo Limited Edition

What does it look like?

Changes are limited on the outside and those are the cosmetic ones. For example, the paint scheme is now available with the edition-specific graphics and the spare wheel cover now features Mahindra’s new logo. There are some basic features such as LED DRLs, roof rails, fog lamps, massive windows and taillamps that have been retained from the standard N10 variant.

As we enter the cabin, the changes there are limited as well. New dual-tone upholstery with diamond quilt stitching to uplift the cabin feel has been introduced and this texture is further extended to several other sections too. Thankfully, just like the Bolero Neo N10, even this one is equipped with a manually adjustable driver’s seat.

Features list?

The features list is quite good and as expected, the limited edition Bolero Neo is loaded with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system but this time with a reverse parking camera. Mahindra is even especially taking care of the safety of the passengers. As a result, the new SUV is decently equipped with features such as dual airbags, ABS with EBD, cornering brake control, engine immobilizer, etc among others. Forsake of making it a little modern, connected car tech has also made its debut on this limited-run product.

What’s beneath the skin?

Under the hood, Mahindra Bolero Neo is still available with a potent 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel mHawk engine that comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. There’s no automatic transmission available on this limited edition SUV either. However, the brand still takes pride while mentioning that the setup can churn out a decent 98.5BHP and 260Nm of peak torque.

Price tag it carries:

One would be paying around Rs.30,000 more for this edition compared to the standard N10 variant. To be a little more precise, the all-new Bolero Neo Limited-Run model is currently priced at Rs.11.50 Lakhs (excluding taxes and other charges).
