What’s it has got to offer?
Available in two trims including – MX and AX, the feature list of the all-new Mahindra XUV700 varies. To further classify them, it is also available in two layouts including – 5-seater and 7-seater. Hope you got the point!
Talking about the top-end AX trim, it is available in three different stages including AX3, AX5 and AX7. The AX3 is decently loaded with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, similarly-sized instrument cluster, 6-speaker sound system and a virtual assistant. Coming to the AX5, it will get some additional features including a panoramic sunroof, a set of 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights. There’s even the AX7 variant, which sounds like a complete package with features such as seven airbags, dual-zone climate control, electrically adjustable driver’s seat and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Mahindra has also announced an additional package that comes with:
- 360-degree camera
- Sony surround sound system
- Wireless charger.
Engine & Transmission
Under the hood, all the variants are available with either 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol or a 2.2-lite four-cylinder diesel engine. The first is truly capable of producing a massive 200HP and 380Nm. Meanwhile, the latter is a mile-muncher with overall output rated at 155HP and 360Nm for the entry-level MX trim and 185HP, 450Nm for the top-end AX trim. The brand has even announced drive modes including – Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom to alter the overall performance as per the requirement.
All of them are available with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. Meanwhile, for added convenience customers can also go for the automatic gearbox. Surprisingly, the top-end variant of Mahindra XUV700 also comes with an AWD system.
