The cabin of the Scorpio N is user-friendly and, at the same time, feels modern enough. In terms of features, it comes loaded with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, wireless charging, electric sunroof and electrically adjustable driver’s seat. The instrument cluster inside is semi-digitally; a try from Mahindra to save analogue clusters.

Safety Features

On the safety front, the SUV is loaded with 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system and electronic stability control (ESC), depending upon the variant. In addition to this, Scorpio N also features hill-assist control.

Engine & Transmission

The SUV comes in several variants, and similarly, there are two engine options available. For starters, it comes equipped with a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that churns out a decent 132 horsepower and 300Nm. However, the same engine is tuned slightly differently on high-end variants and produces 175 horses and 400Nm.

Thankfully, the other one is a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine known for churning out a massive 203 horsepower and up to 380Nm.

Both these engines are being offered with manual and automatic gearboxes.

Price & Rivals of Scorpio N

The price of the Scorpio N ranges from just Rs.13.26 Lakhs to Rs.24.54 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). In India, it compares with SUVs such as Tata Harrier, Hyundai Creta and a few variants of Tata Safari and Hyundai Alcazar. Since, it also features an all-wheel drive system, the SUVs can lock horns with Mahindra XUV700 as well.
