Mahindra XUV400: What to expect?

The all-new Mahindra  XUV400 is more or less similar to the ICE-powered XUV300 and as per the specification sheet, the former is 4200mm long along with a wheelbase of 2600mm. Mahindra even confirmed the boot space of 378 to 418 litres.

Available in five different shades including – Napoli Black (as shown in the picture), Galaxy Grey, Everest White, Arctic Blue and Infinity Blue along with Satin Copper Shade, just in case a customer wants dual tone finish, Mahindra is offering a host of customisation options. Thankfully, the flex does not end here as the features list is even bigger and better. To name a few of them, XUV400 is loaded with 16-inch alloy wheels, follow-me LED headlamps, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, a single-pane sunroof, etc are there to make it feature-rich.

Since we already mentioned that this new EV is available in two different variants, the EL is going to come equipped with a massive 39.4 kWh battery pack with an overall MIDC range rated at 456 kilometres. Meanwhile, there’s even an entry-level EC variant with a comparatively smaller battery pack and an anxiety-free range of 375 kilometres where two different chargers are available for sale. The electric motor that works in conjunction with these battery packs churns out a decent 150 horsepower and 310Nm of peak torque.
