One-off projects are now getting enough traction from the client base especially if it is from a carmaker like Ferrari. The Maranello-based brand is determined for these kinds of projects in future and calls itself a proud customer-centric brand and why shouldn’t they? This time, pushing their limits to another level, the automaker has decided to fulfil the wish of a Taiwan-based client and the result is a powerful, roofless, aggressive and whatnot Ferrari named SP51.
Technical information related to the all-new Ferrari SP51 is missing and we couldn’t understand why the brand did not reveal it. However, in case, you wish to learn more about this extremely limited-run roadster, let’s take a look at the other details related to it down below.
- Ferrari SP51 has finally made its world debut.
- It is a one-off model introduced for a client.
- Exclusive cosmetic enhancements are there.
Styling and Design
The new Ferrari SP51 is going to remind you of the 812 GTS and the legendary 1955 410 S together. To be precise, the colour scheme from the latter model is there to differentiate the new sports car from the entire lineup. Therefore, a new shade called “Rosso Pasionale” with three-layer paintwork has been introduced.
Other changes in the form of new headlights, larger wheels, subtle rear spoiler and taillights are also there acting as a differentiator. One more time, the Italian brand has introduced a fresh set of diamond-cut alloy wheels keeping the overall weight in check. Significant usage of carbon fibre further helps the cause to a greater extent.
Cabin of the Ferrari SP51 matches the exterior and that too in style. The sports seats are now finished in Alcantara with contrast stitching in White and Blue. Also, the central tunnels and steering wheel feature a similar finishing.
As mentioned the new SP51 is based on the 812 GTS. This way, let us assume that the limited-run sportscar will be featuring an 800-horsepower, 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine at its heart. The final result is that this powerplant can push the new SP51 to clock a triple-digit speed in around 3 seconds with a top speed rated at 340kmph,
Ferrari has recently revealed its first four-door sportscar named Purosangue.
