Maruti Suzuki has launched the BS6 Petrol trim of the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross. The Maruti Suzuki S-Cross BS6 Petrol variant was first showcased in the 2020 Auto Expo.

The all-new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross was first scheduled for March launch but unfortunately, the launch was postponed due to the ongoing pandemic. However, now Maruti Suzuki has launched its BS6 compliant of the S-Cross.

Powered by a 1.5-litre K15 Smart hybrid engine that produces 105PS of power and 138Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a 5-speed manual as well as an optional 4-speed torque converter gearbox.

The Maruti Suzuki S Cross Petrol returns a mileage of 18.55kmpl (MT) and around 18.43kmpl (AT).

The features on offer are the 16-inch alloy wheels, LED projector headlamps, silver-color roof rails, auto-folding ORVMs, etc. Meanwhile, the interior is equipped with a 7-inch Smartplay studio with Smartphone connectivity, smart key, push-button start, cruise control, and many other similar features.

The four variants for the Maruti Suzuki S Cross are Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and the top variant Alpha. The entry-level variant to be priced at ₹8.39 lakhs and the S-Cross to be priced at ₹12.39 lakhs for the Alpha AT.

Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki is planning to work more on the CNG as well as the Petrol Hybrids. The company has already started working on the next generation Alto and the Celerio.
