Maserati is a believer and that stubbornness to stay is clearly visible when they launched their all-new MC20 super sports car globally. Staying away for so many years from this segment to returning back with such a great product is not at all easy. Isn’t it? Well, in a world full of Lamborghinis, Maserati is the only brand after Ferrari that could have done it so fiercely.
The Italian carmaker is all set to expand its business in India. As a result, people here will soon be able to witness the all-new Maserati MC20 on the streets. Also, the website is already updated and that’s another confirmation that it is coming to India.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Maserati MC20 will soon land in India within a few months.
- It will get a 630BHP, 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine.
- Bookings for the upcoming MC20 supercar can now be placed.
What can we expect from the upcoming MC20?
Engine & Performance
A potent 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine will be powering the upcoming MC20. Interestingly, after so many years, Maserati has introduced its in-house engine and just to be precise, this power unit is capable of churning out a massive 630BHP and 730Nm while being paired to an 8-speed DCT gearbox.
With a rear-wheel-drive setup, MC20 is capable of doing a 0-100kmph sprint in just 2.9 seconds. As per the brand, the top speed of the same stands at 325kmph.
Design, Exterior & Interior
Sports cars are well-balanced in terms of design and if we talk particularly about the MC20, then currently is one of the most fascinating super sports cars available out there. With an aerodynamic-friendly design, chunky alloy wheels, sleek headlamps & tail lamps and dual exhaust tips it feels well-balanced.
To enhance the overall practicality, Maserati has definitely tried to experiment with the interiors. Starting with the dashboard layout, it is loaded with a multifunction steering wheel, 10-inch fully digital driver’s display, similarly-sized touchscreen infotainment system and large paddle shifters. Other features such as climate control, sports seats and a wireless charger are also a part of the equipment list.
Maserati India is not only coming up with the MC20. In fact, before this big launch, the Italian brand has decided to come up with Levante Hybrid in Q2 2022. Customers who are planning to own a hybrid version of Levante can now place their bookings.
