Maserati with the unveil of its MC20 marks the return of the company in the supercar segment. In the Maserati MC20, the ‘MC’ stands for Maserati Corse while 20 stands for the year of its world premiere. The supercar will come with a price tag of $210,000 in the USA, which is somewhere around ₹1.54 crore when converted.
The MC20 supercar comes with LED headlamps, tail lamps and dual exhaust. Meanwhile, the front and rear suspension on it is a double-wishbone with a virtual steering axle. The MC20 also gets a massive 60 litre fuel tank capacity.
As per Maserati, the MC20 is a driver-oriented supercar and hence the interior comes with minimal distraction. The interior on the Maserati MC20 gets two 10-inch screens. The first one being a virtual cockpit, meanwhile, the second one is the infotainment system which the company calls the Maserati Touch Control Plus.
Other features such as the wireless charging pad, drive mode selector, multimedia system control and power windows will also come as standard. However, like a sports car, the Maserati MC20 also gets four drive modes – GT, Wet, Sport and Corsa.
The supercar with its aggressive looks comes with six color schemes on offer. The Bianco Audace, Rosso Vincente, Giallo Genio, Blu Infinito, Nero Enigma and Grigio Mistero are the six color options available with the MC20 supercar.
The all-new Maserati MC20 supercar comes with a 3.0-litre, twin-turbo V6 engine. This particular engine is manufactured and designed by Maserati itself. Meanwhile, the company calls it ‘Nettuno’ engine. It produces a massive 630BHP of power while the peak torque claimed by the company is around 730Nm. Maserati MC20 can do a 0-100kmph in just 2.9 seconds and the top speed is somewhere around 325kmph. Likewise, the engine comes paired to an 8-speed DCT gearbox with the rear-wheel drive powertrain.
