Mercedes has launched the all-new AMG GLC 43 in India and it is the first AMG model to be assembled in the country itself. This model particularly is assembled at the Chakan Plant, Pune which marks the company’s 10th launch in India this year.

Design-wise, the recently launched SUV looks very similar to the regular 2020 GLC 43 Coupe. However, the only visible changes that can be noticed are the redesigned bumpers, 20-inch alloy wheels, Panamericana grille and quad exhaust.

Inside the cabin, the performance SUV gets a dual-screen setup. The first one for a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and the other one being a 10.25-inch MBUX touchscreen infotainment system. Other features such as sporty seats, flat-bottom steering wheels and a Burmester surround sound system are also something to notice inside the sporty yet luxurious SUV.

The engine that powers the Mercedes AMG GLC 43 Coupe is a 3.0L turbo-petrol V6 unit. It produces 390BHP of power with a peak torque of 520Nm. The last updated Mercedes AMG GLC 43 Coupe used to produces 367BHP of power which is 23BHP lesser than the latest one. Meanwhile, this all-new engine comes mated to 9-speed automatic gearbox with power channeled to all wheels.

Mercedes has priced the AMG GLC 43 Coupe at Rs. 76.70 Lakh onwards in India. However, the closest rival to the Mercedes AMG GLC 43 Coupe is the Porsche Macan and BMW X3 M.
