Mercedes-Benz has decided to bring the all-new Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 53 Coupe in India. The German carmaker will launch its Coupe SUV on 23 September 2020. However, the company has started its bookings today. Meanwhile, customers can place an order by visiting the company’s official website or nearest dealership.

Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 53 Coupe is based upon the standard GLE. However, the only difference at the front between the two SUVs is the ‘Panamericana’ AMG grille that makes it look sportier.

The engine that powers the Mercedes Benz AMG GLE 53 Coupe is a 3.0-litre, twin-turbo, six-cylinder engine. It produces a maximum output of 435BHP with a peak torque of 520Nm. Meanwhile, the coupe SUV also gets a 48V mild-hybrid EQ Boost technology that produces an additional 22BHP of power and 250Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox and the 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system across all variants. The 4MATIC+ comes with the AMG active ride control roll stabilization and AIRMATIC suspension.

However, with the top-class performance, Mercedes Benz AMG GLE 53 Coupe can do a 0-100 kmph in just 5.3 seconds. Meanwhile, the top speed remains to be somewhere around 250 kmph.

Mercedes while offering the Coupe SUV will come with 20-inch alloy wheels as standard. However, the 21 and 22-inch alloy wheels can also be purchased as optional.

The all-new Mercedes Benz AMG GLE 53 Coupe will offer a 12.3 inch instrument cluster as well as an infotainment system. Meanwhile, the infotainment system will come with a 13-speaker Burmester sound system. The other features on offer are the adaptive suspension, heads up display, 6-way adjustable rear seats and a 360-degree camera.

Mercedes Benz AMG GLE 53 Coupe will rival the BMW X6, Audi Q8 and Porsche Cayenne Coupe. Meanwhile, the company has put a price tag of ₹1.2 Crore on the Coupe SUV in India.
