Mercedes Benz India Hikes PriceImage Source: The Indian Express

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Mercedes Benz India has announced that the company will revise the price list of its lineup.
  • Price hike credit goes to higher input and operation costs.
  • When applicable it can lead to a maximum price hike of Rs.15 Lakh on some models.

Mercedes Benz is going to introduce a price hike on its entire portfolio in India. However, the revised price will be applicable from 15th January onwards. Because of the obvious reasons, the price hike on all the cars can vary upto 5% of the current ex-showroom cost.

Further, even the Euro is getting stronger when compared to the Indian Rupee since the last 6-7 months with a higher input cost has forced the German carmaker to take such extreme decisions. Coming to the C-Class, it will now cost Rs.2,00,000 when compared to earlier. Likewise, the revised price of the Mercedes AMG GT 4 door coupe now stands at Rs.2.60 Crore that is Rs.15 Lakh more when compared to the old price. For convenience here is a precise revised price list of the Mercedes Benz India portfolio.
