Engine

This time, it is going to be a serious deal. Power on the Track Series is still available by a potent 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 engine but with overall output rated at a massive 724 horsepower and 850Nm of peak torque.

Transmission duties for this setup are managed by a 6-speed performance-oriented gearbox and that too with a transaxle and an adjustable differential.

Hardware Upgrades

The tweaks are not at all limited to the powertrain. In fact, the German brand has managed to extract the best in class driving dynamics by introducing aluminium double wishbones on either end. Also, making this car even more capable are Blistein dampers with anti-roll bars that can be adjusted in four different settings.

Mercedes also confirmed that the Track Series will be using 390mm (front) and 355mm (rear) steel brakes to stop this powerful supercar. Keeping in mind the cooling part, the carmaker has designed several air ducts that helps proper airflow throughout.

Other performance upgrades in the form of a modified traction control system and ABS are also a part of the standard equipment list. Thankfully, both of them can be adjusted in 12 different levels. Well, that’s something impressive.
