You ask, they deliver. We have witnessed MG Motor India closely monitoring what customers want from them and this time, the brand has worked so brilliantly to understand the feedback that they have finally decided to introduce a 7-seater Savvy variant for the MG Gloster. Earlier, the top-spec variant was only available with twin captain seats in the middle row that ultimately hampered the practicality quotient for the customers.

Well today, MG India has launched the all-new MG Gloster Savvy with a 7-seat configuration with a price tag of Rs.37.28 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Want to learn more about the recently launched SUV? Take a look at the details down below.

Exterior

On the outside, MG Gloster still comes with a large front grille, projector LED headlamps and 19-inch alloy wheels. Just like other variants, even this come comes with a factory-fitted footstep for added convenience.

Interior

No updates can be expected from the cabin as well. To be precise, the 7-seater Savvy variant will continue to feature a large panoramic sunroof, 64-colours ambient lighting, three-zone climate control, power-adjustable front seats and connected car tech.

The neatly laid out dashboard will continue to get a massive 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a fully digital instrument cluster as standard. Talking about the middle row, the captain seats are now replaced by a bench seat for the 7-seater layout.

Engine

Under the hood, MG Gloster Savvy is only available with a 2.0-litre twin-turbo four-cylinder diesel engine. The overall output from this unit is rated at 218HP and 480Nm while being mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard. Interestingly, it is also available with a four-wheel drive powertrain.

Safety

On the safety front, the all-new Gloster comes with six airbags, parking sensors, ABS, ESP, a 360-degree parking camera and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that includes features such as adaptive cruise control, collision warning and emergency braking among others.

At the beginning of this year, Toyota introduced the updated Fortuner. For now, it comes powered by either 2.7-litre four-cylinder petrol or a 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine. Talking about the features, it comes with 8-way electrically adjustable front seats, JBL surround sound system, LED headlights and powered tailgate just to name a few.
