Inside the cabin, the 2021 MG Hector Plus will come with a 7-seater layout. However, apart from this, there is a wireless charging pad, ventilated seats and auto-dimming IRVM that is added to the feature list of the Hector Plus.

Engine

Mechanically, the 2021 MG Hector remains almost the same with a 1.5L turbocharged petrol motor that churns out 141HP and a peak torque of 250Nm. Meanwhile, to handle the transmission duties there is either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed DCT. Further, the 2.0L diesel engine comes mated to a 6-speed MT while churning out 170HP and 350Nm of torque.

As the all-new 7-seater MG Hector enters the Indian market it will directly compete against the likes of Mahindra XUV500 and the upcoming Tata Safari.
