Maruti Suzuki India limited (MSIL) on November 20, in a statement announced the ramped up production of its top-seller Vitara Brezza in order to reduce the waiting period for their customers. To bring down the waiting period, MSIL has increased its production by ten percent.

MSIL’s Vitara Brezza has toppled Hyundai’s Creta in the last two years to become top-selling SUV in the country, even has forced Hyundai Creta to maintain its position to that, from the last two years. Despite the increase to competitor’s production like Tata Nexon, MSIL had an average sale of up to 14,000 units in the last one year.

In comparison to last the year period, MSIL’s production has rolled up to 94,000 units during the financial year i.e., October 2018. Because of MSIL’s Gujarat plant which had covered about 2.5 lakh units per year, its production has escalated. MSIL is very much confident of enhancing its ownership by reducing the waiting period for the customers.

Being Indo-Japanese company, MSIL had retailed Vitara Brezza over 1.48 lakh in FY2018. In the beginning of its seven-month of retailing (April to October), 95,000 examples of Vitara Brezza were sold. Though, it also holds the achievement record of 3 lakhs sales, that too in the fastest way within just 28 months.
