Harley-Davidson has a very rich history when it comes to motorcycles. 2021 Harley-Davidson Sportster S
First things first, the new Sportster S comes powered by the brand’s Revolution Max 1250cc liquid-cooled engine. It’s a really powerful motor with overall output rated at 121HP and 127Nm of peak torque. Interestingly, transmission duties for this entire setup are managed by a 6-speed manual transmission with slip and assist clutch as standard.
The new Harley Davidson Sportster S is just like any other modern bike when it comes to features. To start with, it is now available with an all-LED lighting setup. Surprisingly, a circular 4.0-inch TFT instrument console is also there to remind you of the retro design language.
There’s also a palette full of different colour schemes including Midnight Crimson, Vivid Black and Stone Washed White Pearl for the customers.
The brand has even introduced 5 different ride modes. To be precise, they are Sport, Road, Rain with two other modes that can be customised according to the requirements. Also, cruise control along with several safety aids such as cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control and a tyre pressure monitoring system will be available on the all-new Harley Davidson Sportster S as standard.
Based on the Revolution Max platform, the new bike sits on a fully adjustable 43mm Showa USD fork up front. Meanwhile, at the rear, it gets a monoshock setup with preload adjustment. Braking duties for the same is handled by a 320mm disc (front) and 260mm disc (rear).
Talking about the price, Harley-Davidson has put a tag of $14,999 for the Sportster S. As expected, it will arrive in India by the end of 2021.
