New Porsche 911 GTS Range
Lesser weight will ultimately result in better performance and added downforce. The introduction of the new Lightweight Design package can decrease the overall weight by up to 25kgs. For starters, it includes CFRP bucket seats and lightweight glasses without rear seats on offer. Other features such as mode button, tyre temperature display, Porsche Track Precision App and four-way adjustable seats are available as standard.
For an upmarket feel, Porsche has extensively used microfibre and black colour shade on the cabin of the new 911 GTS range. Apart from this, it gets the brand’s latest Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Performance has also been improved using the 911 Turbo’s suspension setup. The updated GTS range will get Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with adaptive dampers on board. Apart from this, 20-inch front and 21-inch rear allow wheels with sports exhaust are also there as standard.
Engine & Performance
Under the hood, the new 911 GTS range gets a 3.0-litre turbocharged six-cylinder engine that churns out a massive 480PS of power and 570Nm of peak torque (up by 20Nm) when compared to the outgoing model. As claimed by the German brand, the updated 911 Carerra 4 GTS Coupe can clocks a three-digit speed in 3.3 seconds with an eight-speed PDK gearbox. Another 7-speed manual transmission is also available for car enthusiasts.

To everyone who thinks that the Aston Martin Vantage is merely a Mercedes-AMG GT with a different design language, well it’s not. To begin with, the new Vantage does use a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that churns out a massive 502BHP and 675Nm of peak torque, but with an entirely separate identity. Multiple drive modes to alter the performance including Sport, Sport+ and Track are also there making it a practical sports car in the entire range.
Just like the new Porsche 911 GTS range, even the Vantage comes equipped with an optional seven-speed manual gearbox for people who actually want to take control manually.
