2022 Ford Mustang

Ford calls it a ‘loaded barrel’ and there’s a reason behind it. With a similar silhouette to the outgoing model, this new one comes with minor updates in the form of a revised front bumper, bonnet hood, LED headlights and grille the all-new Mustang does look like a bullet that is ready to get fired.

Globally, there are several new exterior shades available including – Antimatter Blue, Carbonised Grey and Grabber Yellow. Customers who further wish to customise it can go for different stripes for a sportier design.

This time customers can expect the 2022 Ford Mustang to be feature-rich. Engine

The American muscle car was already available in India with a 5.0-litre V8 engine. But this time, the updated Mustang could enter here with around two to three engine options just like what they offer in the US. Starting with the GT model that was available in India and is more likely to arrive here, it comes powered by a 5.0-litre V8 unit that produces a massive 460HP with a peak torque of 570Nm. Another option in the form of a 2.3-litre EcoBoost in different tunes could also be a part of the upcoming model.

All this information is based upon what Ford offers in the US. Readers can expect minor changes at the time of its unveiling in India.

Is the new Mustang the only hope?

Of course not. In fact, Ford was already offering Mustang via the CBU route. In the future, they will continue to serve the Indian market via the import and CBU route. The American brand has also hinted at the possible launch of Mustang Mach-E which will be hitting the shores by 2023 which is quite an exciting electric crossover.
